  1.                    Welcome to the Demo version of Digiplay !

  3.                            NEWS IN DIGIPLAY DEMO 1.0a
  4.  ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
  5.  A  bug sliped by us in the last Demo version (1.0).
  6.  The bug was that when you moved the mouse, the sound went VERY bad, with 
  7.  crackle as a result. The bug only existed with ST-sound and cartridges.
  8.  In this Demo version this is fixed, but in extreme cases a click may still 
  9.  be heard..
  10.  As a bonus, this Demo version also runs as a .ACC program.
  11.  
  12.  On some STmachines, the sound can hang when running as a .ACC program.
  13.  If this happens, just press "ALTERNATE-HELP", and everything will go back to 
  14.  normal again. This is a "bug" in TOS, and we are working hard to avoid this 
  15.  problem in the next update of Digiplay. It has to do with TOS suddenly takes 
  16.  more processor time than Digiplay leaves.

  18.  On a ordinary ST, we stop the music when a disk access is in progress. We do 
  19.  that to ensure correct handling af the disk routines. This only happens when 
  20.  running as a .ACC program.

  23.  Digiplay is a player for almost all different MODule formats that exist on 
  24.  the Atari ST and Amiga. Digiplay is not a complete music program as Digi 
  25.  Composer, it's only a player that enabels you to listen to modules created by 
  26.  programs like Digi Composer or similar. If you've never tested creating music 
  27.  on a computer, now is the time !
  28.  Try getting one of our other programs named "Digi Composer". It is a complete 
  29.  music program for creating those MODules that Digiplay can play without need 
  30.  for the complete music program.
  31.  Digi Composer can be found at most PD libraries, or at most public BBS sites 
  32.  that carry Atari ST software. The REAL version of Digiplay is not PD or 
  33.  Shareware. It can only be bought direct from us here in Sweden (May change in 
  34.  the future).
  35.  This Demoversion is free, and you can copy it to anybody you wish.
  36.  Digiplay demo is missing LOTS of functions of the real program that can be 
  37.  bought from us. The demo version also has a maximum playing time of 60
  38.  seconds. After that, you must quit and load again to be able to hear more
  39.  modules.

  41.  The real version of Digiplay carry the following functions :

  43.  * Runs in three modes - .ACC .PRG and .TOS/TTP. Runtime parameters can set in     
  44.    all modes.
  45.  * Multitasks in .ACC mode on ALL Atari ST computers.
  46.  * 100% system friendly.
  47.  * Supports all different screen resolutions, including grafix cards.
  48.  * Supports internal soundchips of the Atari ST/STE/TT computers, as well as 
  49.    the following cartridges : Replay, Replay PRO, Playback, MV 16 and
  50.    Prosound.
  51.  * Save your favorite preferences.
  52.  * Works on all Atari computers. From a 520 STM to a TT/030.
  53.  * Three different velocity tabels for finetuning.
  54.  * Supports environment variables.
